The client is from a comprehensive enterprise in Angola which is active in the field of Generators, accessories, automobiles, lubricants, tires, zinc plates, electrical appliances and others, etc.

This project is a new plant in Angola for the manufacturing of zinc sheets. With their new sector of manufacturing corrugated zinc sheet they are able to tailor the products to suit your roofing needs. They are able to offer customized orders and variable types,sizes and widths.

Confirmation on crane capacity: 35 ton, 38 ton, 45 ton or 50 ton?

Thanks for your below inquiry. This is Dora from Dongqi Group Yuantai Crane.
Attached please see our product catalogue.

Based on the information you provided, we have designed the gantry crane of 50ton as attached.
When you say 45-50ton capacity, we need to consider the maximum so the design is based on 50 ton capacity.
If the majority of weight to be handled is smaller than 50ton, please let us know so we can revise the design (for big gantry crane like this, capacity will reflect on the price.).

Besides, the power supply is 380volts 50hz 3phase, please correct me if this is wrong.
Quotation wise, do you prefer to include sea freight in the offer? If so, please let me know the destination port name.

Average weight to be handled is 35 to 38 tons.
Power supply is correct 380volts 50hz 3phase
Destination port - Luanda ,Angola.
I forgot to include the travel distance for the crane in previous enquiry ,its 50 meters.

Confirmation on crane span: 12 meters or 11meters?

Thanks for your reply.
It may work better if you could tell me your budget so we can see if there's possibility to reach an agreement.
few points from my side:

  • 1.For capacity if the heaviest load is 38ton and average is 35-38ton, it's possible to make it 40t or 45t depending on the frequency of lifting on daily basis. If the crane is to lift very few 38t, 40t should work.If it is to lift mostly 40t, 45t capacity is better.
  • 2.for span, is it possible to make the span (from rail centre to rail center) smaller than 12m, maybe 11m?This is because for 12m span,the main girders need extra steel plates and high-strength bolts because the main girders will be disconnected to fit in 40ft container.

Please share your comments about both capacity and span, as well as your budget. Meanwhile, I will try to apply the best discount for your order.Thanks.

l did some contacts and found out that 35 tons will be ok for our project,the maximum load will be 30 tons.Regarding the length 11 meters will also be fine.

Quick info on crane specification confirmation:

  • The lifting capacity is determized by two factors : 1) the weight range of the frequently hoisted material; 2) the weight of the heaviest material
  • For the span of 12m, it can be suggested to reduce the span to save the cost of cutting beam and freight.

For the 10t overhead crane, please see attached CIF quotation and revised design drawing (crane travelling speed increased to 40mDo you have any future plans to add another crane since the travelling distance is as long as 100m?
lf so, please let me know,so l can take it into consideration for both rails and bus bar.
The current rail and bus bar are suitable for one crane only.

Summary:

Provided 2 solutions:One is LD type single girder overhead crane with cd/md wire rope hoist and HD type single girder overhead crane with European style rope hoist. The Angola customers prefer the latter;

  • As the travelling length is 100m, the travelling speed should be discussed. For the standard speed of the cart is 20m/min, it would take longer time due to long travelling length, and it is suggested to speed up to 32m/min;
  • As for crane rail and crane busbar, it is necessary to take your future need into consideration for it involves with the type / model selection of the busbar. As for the 35 ton overhead crane for Angola project, there is no need to install another bridge crane in the future.

No.5 and 6 are for comparison of a difference model of single girder overhead crane which is more economical.

What is CNCA?

CNCA is the abbreviation of CONSELHO NACIONAL DE CARREGADORES DE ANGOLA, translated into Chinese called shipping certificate, is a document used to issue bills of lading and customs clearance in Angola. The Angolan government stipulates that any goods imported into the country by sea must apply for a CNCA (CONSELHO NACIONAL DE CARREGADORES DE ANGOLA) shipping certificate, and the CNCA NUMBER needs to be displayed on the bill of lading, otherwise it will affect the customs clearance of the goods in the country. The shipping company's requirement for the exporter is that the consignor must provide the Angola CNCA number of the exported goods (some shipping companies require it to be displayed on the bill of lading) before issuing the original bill of lading, otherwise the original bill of lading cannot be issued. The CNCA NUMBER must be provided when the bill of lading sample is provided to the shipping company. If you fail to provide or provide the wrong CNCA NUMBER, the customer will be responsible for the consequences of detaining the container at the port of destination and fines.

It is issued by a special agency of CNCA, not a shipping company or a freight forwarder. The fee is: USD 100/ticket + USD150/small container + USD200/large container + agency fee of 200 RMB/ticket, sign several bills of lading and issue several copies.
