Casting Overhead Crane - feed molten iron into the converter
The steel making and continuous casting processes rely heavily on the casting bridge crane. It is primarily used to feed molten iron into the converter; to lift the molten steel ladle to the refining furnace on the refining bay or to the continuous casting ladle turret on the molten steel receiving bay.

QZ Grab Overhead Crane - for bulk material handling
Grab cranes are useful in metallurgy, building materials, the chemical industry, coal mining, and other industries. It loads and unloads ore, slag, coke, coal, sand, and other bulk materials in the workshop, warehouse, or open air. We have two types of grab cranes in our Overhead Bridge Crane Factory: the General QZ grab overhead crane and the garbage grab overhead crane. The bridge frame, crane traveling mechanism, trolley, and electrical equipment are the main components of the QD model double-girder bridge crane. It is appropriate for machining workshop, auxiliary workshop of metallurgical plant, warehouse, stockyard, power station, and other operations; it is also appropriate for production workshops in the textile, chemical, and food industries. Its working level is classified as light, medium, or heavy depending on the frequency of use. The working temperature range is -25°C to 40°C, and it is not supposed to be used in flammable, explosive, or corrosive media environments.
LDY Casting Overhead Crane - hot ladle handling
The girder structure, crane travel device, and trolley with lifting and moving device comprise the LDY model foundry overhead crane. On the main girder, there are rails for the hoist trolley to move. The heat insulation device is installed beneath the electric hoist. The main girder joint is connected to the two side end carriages by a joint point in the middle.
In the steel mill/metallurgy industry, for light weight ladle handling, a ldy single girder overhead crane is a cost-effective solution. The LDY single girder ladle crane is specially designed to lift hot small ladles. The working temperature could reach 60 degrees.
The single girder ladle crane material has good resistant to high temperatures. And electrical components will be outfitted with a cooler fan. For cabin control, the motors are H class, cooler, and insulated.

LDA Single Girder Overhead Cranes are commonly used to lift goods in plants, warehouses, and material stores. The equipment cannot be used in a combustible, explosive, or corrosive environment. A single girder overhead crane has a more reasonable structure and higher strength steel overall when used in conjunction with a CD, MD model electric hoist as a complete set. It is primarily used for maintenance in the metallurgy workshop.
BZD Floor Mounted Jib Crane - for material handling in designated working area
A BZD type floor mounted jib crane is a type of light duty overhead crane that is used in conjunction with a wire rope electric hoist or an electric chain hoist. A column, slewing arm, slewing drive device, and electric hoist comprise the crane. Anchor bolts secure the column's bottom to the concrete foundation. The cycloidal pinwheel reduction device rotates the cantilever, and the electric hoist runs in a straight line left and right on the cantilever I-beam, lifting heavy objects.

Scrap metal is a major raw material used in steel production. Steel mills can be reached by sea, rail, or road. When the scrap metal arrives at the scrapyard, the crane must reach into the transport vehicle and safely and quickly unload the metal. These unloading cranes must be dependable and efficient in order for transport vehicles to pass through the facility and waste to flow into the factory. Speed is critical: the faster the vehicle is unloaded, the sooner it can leave. Sometimes there is more waste than can be processed immediately. It is frequently mixed and must be classified before smelting. You may have a large storage area, and your crane must be able to reach all areas of the area in order to obtain the necessary materials quickly. Bridge cranes are typically used to unload trains or road vehicles, sort materials, and load steel drums for loading into the furnace.
We recommend high-speed grab overhead cranes and high-speed electromagnetic cranes because waste is a difficult-to-handle material with no fixed hook or pliers shape. The claw grab can grab anything that can be bit with its teeth. The magnet attracts the entire metal sheet to its surface. Both types of cranes can adapt to your load type and site conditions, and they are outfitted with the level of automation that you require.
Steel production is a continuous process. The smelting workshop is a dangerous place with suffocating dust, hot metal, and open flames. The smelting shop crane must be capable of lifting and transporting liquid metal drums safely.
Manufacturing molten steel
Steel is made from two primary sources: iron ore raw materials and scrap. They are treated separately because they are different substances. In a direct reduction process, iron ore and coking coal are combined to produce solid metallic iron. The molten iron is lifted by the ladle crane and mixed with scrap to create molten steel.
An overhead crane loads scrap from the scrapyard into the furnace. The hopper is lifted to the melting furnace by the main lifting machinery. During loading, the auxiliary crane on the crane opens and closes the bucket. An alkaline oxygen furnace or an electric arc furnace can be used, depending on the equipment. Scrap is added to iron in large steel mills, but scrap may be the only original source of liquid metal in small steel mills.
Cast molding
A pouring crane assists in mixing the molten metal in the correct proportions from the initial blast furnace in the steelmaking process. The molten steel will be cast into shape once the mixing is complete. Tundish cranes are typically employed in tundish maintenance and handling.
Multifunctional crane
Loading cranes, ladle cranes, gate cranes, and tundish cranes are all very similar, and their names are determined by where they are located and what they do in the factory. They are typically bridge cranes outfitted with special attachments for lifting massive ladles filled with liquid metal. They typically serve multiple functions and serve as backups for one another. A waste charging and maintenance hoist, such as cleaning the empty ladle or lifting the furnace shell, can be added.
The smelting plant's slabs and billets are incandescent and ductile. They can be rolled into any shape needed using a rolling machine. This is sometimes done right away. Move hot metal

Because of the variety of products and shapes that fall off the drum, the crane requires a special load handling device. Mechanical or hydraulic clamps can hold slabs in place, while magnets can hold slabs, billets, or coils in place, and C-hooks can lift coils and smaller billets. Because steel must be insulated and formed, there is some radiant heat, and the grab must be insulated.
Positioning aid
Each factory has a limited amount of floor space. A rotating trolley or lifting beam assists the operator in placing the steel more precisely on the conveyor that feeds the drum or storage area. Auxiliary cranes aid in the location of larger objects and maintenance tasks.
Storage and staging
Some steel products may be shipped immediately after leaving the production line, while others must be transported to storage facilities.
