The solution to the brake failure of the electric hoist of the port hoisting equipment
If the group hoist that has not been used for a long time starts when the operator needs it but does not operate after pressing the start switch, the common faults mainly have the following three conditions:First, there is a problem with the power supply line. Its disadvantages are: large length dimension, large width dimension, rough structure, low mechanical efficiency, and difficult processing. Due to long-term non-use, the main cable, stability, switch and other components often fail. Since electric hoist brakes that are not used for a long time are relatively easy to rust, they are not easy to turn over when they are used suddenly. When the operator discovers this situation, it is recommended to remove the rear brake housing of the lift motor and use a hammer to quietly strike the cone brake of the cone rotor motor;
Third, the voltage of the electric hoist of the group hoist is 10% lower than the rated voltage. The electric motor usually has too small starting torque, which makes the electric hoist work normally due to the lifting of the goods. When checking, the operator must use a multimeter. When measuring the voltage at the input terminal of the motor, if the voltage cannot be started because the voltage is too low, the electric hoist should be used after the system voltage reaches the normal rated voltage.
