Features of mold and die handling cranes
Aside from the cost of two hoists for the flipping operation, the hoisting equipment features required to ensure a proper system increase the overall system cost.

- A robust design will help extend the life of the hoist while enduring shock loads and will help extend the life of the often abused hoists.
- Load limiting devices are required to ensure that the hoists do not lift dangerous loads.
- Control stations with the option of using a single hoist and trolley or both. This enables the hoists to travel and hoist in tandem or separately. We recommend using remote radio controls to keep the operator at a safe distance from any moving load.
- The crane and hoist must be able to travel at slow speeds in order to place objects precisely.
