Initial inquiry - Single girder overhead crane
On the 10th of April, the Qatar client contacted us on our web and send us the basic inquiry of the 4 ton single girder overhead crane.
During communication process, we sent a picture of LD type single girder overhead crane to the customer for crane confirmation and the feedback of Qatar client was the dimensions of single girder overhead crane too large and weight of the overhead crane is heavy for his application.
General use single girder overhead crane with cd/md wire rope hoist
Considering that the customer's workshop space may be limited, combined our successful low headroom crane projects in the past, the H-beam crane scheme was suggested.
With detail communications, the overhead span, voltage and working condition was confirmed.
Because the customer also mentioned that the lifting height is 3.5m, he directly confirmed the height of the workshop with the customer: 5m (the distance from the ground to the lowest point of the workshop).

4 ton crane design revision
On 22nd of April, the Qatar customer sent a new layout diagram. The customer adjusted the requirement, the crane span is altered into 10.59m, and a new monorail crane quotation and plan map were sent to the customer in time
Third revision on 4 ton single girder overhead crane
On 5th May, the Qatar customer sends the revised plant layout drawing and confirmed the first 4 ton single girder eot crane solution was preferred after feedback to their company after discussion. And ask for new quotations for the H beam crane with low headroom wire rope hoist and rail-bearing beams.
This time the feedback layout diagram of the Qatar client is very clear, indicating the operation of the overhead crane and the number of supporting columns
With a running length of 10.7m, two columns are required on each side.
