What do we want to know about the gantry and why is the gantry stable
The gantry is a portal frame composed of two vertical poles and a day wheel beam (cross beam). The installation of pulleys (sky and ground wheels), guide rails, hanging plates (feeding platform), safety devices, hoisting ropes, cable wind ropes, etc. on the gantry constitute a complete vertical transportation system.According to the composition of the poles of the gantry, currently commonly used are combined pole gantry, steel pipe gantry, wooden gantry and so on. The vertical pole of the combined vertical pole gantry is made of steel pipe, angle steel and round steel combined and welded with each other, which has the advantages of high strength, good rigidity, and large use of small materials. The steel pipe gantry and the wooden gantry are composed of a single rod as a vertical pole, which is easier to manufacture and install, but the stability is worse than that of the combined vertical pole, and it is more suitable for use in low-rise buildings. However, due to the poor rigidity and stability of the pole, it is generally used in low-rise buildings. If it is erected in sections, the height is gradually increased, and the connection to the building is strengthened, a larger height can also be erected. The gantry is simple in structure, easy to make, less materials, and convenient for assembly and disassembly. About the gantry, we need to know what is suitable for small and medium-sized projects.
The stability of the simple gantry depends on the following points:

1. After the simple gantry operation (assembly) is completed, a load test hoist should be carried out; the test hoist is divided into static load and dynamic load, and the operation capacity, carrying capacity, stability and reliability of each system are checked.
2. When the simple gantry is running, it must be parallel and stable without twisting it.
3. Overload use is strictly prohibited.
4. There should be a dedicated person for unified command during operation, and other personnel should have a clear division of labor; determine a unified contact signal.
5. In the event of a power outage or other special circumstances during operation, heavy objects should be dropped to the ground and not suspended in the air.
6. It is strictly forbidden to stand under simple gantry and lifting heavy objects.
7. It is forbidden to stand on the simple gantry.
