General operating procedures for bridge gantry cranes
(1) The operator must be familiar with the structure and performance of the crane, and only after passing the examination and obtaining the "Special Type of Work Operation Certificate" can he operate independently, and shall abide by the safety rules.(2) Add enough lubricating oil according to the lubrication regulations, and cover the oil tank, oil cup, etc. after adding oil.
(3) The following inspections must be carried out before each shift starts:
① Whether the hook head and pulley are defective;
②Whether the wire rope is intact, whether it is firmly fixed on the drum, and whether there is any phenomenon of falling out of the groove;
③Whether the controls of the cart, trolley and lifting mechanism are safe and reliable;
④ Whether each transmission mechanism is normal, whether each safety switch is sensitive and reliable, whether the lifting limit and the large and small car limit are normal;
⑤ Whether there is abnormal noise during driving.
If defects or abnormal phenomena are found, adjustments and repairs should be made immediately, and the use should not be accommodated.
(4) Before driving, turn all controller handles to the zero position, close the doors and windows, and start driving after the bell rings.
(5) Start up smoothly and accelerate step by step: the shifting time of each gear of the hoisting mechanism can be controlled within 1-2 seconds; the shifting time of each gear of the operating mechanism should not be less than 3 seconds; The gear shift time should be 6-18 seconds, depending on the lifting capacity, high-grade starting is strictly prohibited.
(6) It is strictly forbidden to use cranes beyond the specifications, and must comply with the "ten no cranes" regulations in the "Safety Management Regulations for Lifting Machinery".
(7) When lifting heavy objects every shift (or when the load reaches the maximum weight), the heavy objects should be lowered at a height of 0.5m from the ground to check the performance of the brakes, and then perform normal operations after confirming the reliability. .
(8) When operating the controller, it must be carried out according to the grade, to protect the stability of the suspended object, and not to lift the hook when it is rotating, to prevent the wire rope from going out of the groove.
(9) When large and small vehicles are approaching the end point, the speed should be reduced. It is strictly forbidden to use the end point switch as a means of stopping, and it is not allowed to use the reverse vehicle to achieve the purpose of braking.
(10) During the operation, the operator shall ring the bell and alarm for the following operations according to regulations:
① When lifting and lowering heavy objects, when driving large and small vehicles;
②When the crane is driving in a place where the line of sight is unclear, the bell should be continuously sounded to alarm;
③When the crane is approaching another crane in the span;
④When lifting heavy objects and approaching people.
(11) It is forbidden for cranes to stay in the air for a long time while lifting heavy objects. When the crane is hoisting heavy objects, the operator and the lanyard shall not leave the work post at will.
(12) When the crane is running, it is forbidden for people to go up and down, walk on the track or walking platform, or engage in maintenance. (13) For cranes with two hooks, when the main and auxiliary hooks are switched and the heights of the two hooks are close, they must work separately to avoid collisions between the two hooks.
(14) Two hook cranes are not allowed to hang two objects at the same time. The non-working hook must be raised to a height close to the limit position, and no wire rope is allowed to hang on the hook.
(15) When there are multiple cranes working in the same span, the distance of 1.5m must be maintained to prevent collision. When the work needs to be close, it should be approved by the neighboring machine, but the minimum distance should be >0. 3m.
(16) It is forbidden for two cranes to lift a heavy object at the same time. When two cranes need to be hoisted together under special circumstances, safety measures should be taken, and each crane must not exceed the load, and the chief maneuvering division or chief engineer should be instructed on site before hoisting.
(17) When changing the direction of operation during normal work, the controller must be pulled to the "zero position", and the drive can be reversed after the mechanism stops rotating safely.
(18) The protection devices of electrical appliances must be kept intact, and adjustments and replacements are not allowed at will.
(19) During work, if the brakes, bearings, electrical appliances and other parts are overheated, abnormal noises or abnormal phenomena, the controller handle should be pulled to the "zero position", the power supply should be cut off immediately, and maintenance should be carried out.
(20) Cranes operating in the open air should stop working when the wind is greater than level 6 or when it rains. When not working, the crane must be parked at a designated location and secured reliably.
(21) For cranes with disks and grab buckets, the following regulations should also be observed:
①When working with disks or grabbing buckets, you must ensure that the cable and steel wire ropes move at the same speed. Do not make the disks and grabbing buckets rotate to avoid accidents caused by entanglement of cables and steel wire ropes;
②It is not allowed to use electric disks to lift workpieces whose temperature is above 200℃;
③When using the grab bucket, it is not allowed to grab the whole object to avoid slipping during lifting;
④ When it is found that the electro-magnetic disk has residual magnetism (some heavy objects do not leave the electro-magnetic disk after the power is turned off), the operation should be stopped and repaired.
(22) After the lifting operation is completed, the crane is driven to the designated place, the trolley is driven to the end of the cab, the hook is raised, all controls are pulled to the "zero position", the power is cut off, and the cleaning is performed to keep it tidy. And do a good job of on-duty operation records and shift work.
