Precautions for the use of overhead cranes
(1) Each overhead crane must be hung in a prominent location with a sign indicating its rated capacity.
(2) No one is permitted to be on the bridge or transporting people with hooks while working.
(3) No electric overhead crane is allowed to be operated by one without an operating license or after consuming alcohol.
(4) You must concentrate during the operation and refrain from talking, smoking, or doing anything else distracting.
(5) The vehicle must be spotless; no equipment, tools, flammable, explosive, or dangerous goods may be placed indiscriminately.
(6) Overload is perhibidened for any types of overhead crane operations.
(7) Lifting is prohibited in the following circumstances: loose binding; overloaded; unknown signal; oblique pulling; objects buried or frozen in the ground; people on the objects to be hoisted; flammables and explosives without safety precautions. And hazardous goods; liquid objects that are overflowing; the wire rope does not meet the requirements for safe use; and the lifting mechanism is defective.
(8) When the overhead crane is running on a clear line, the hook or spreader and the bottom surface of the hanging object must be at least 2 meters above the ground. If you cross the obstacle, you must exceed it by 0.5m.
(9) For lifting objects weighing less than 50% of the rated lifting weight, two mechanisms may operate concurrently; for lifting objects weighing more than 50% of the rated lifting weight, only one mechanism may operate.
(10) When using overhead cranes with main and auxiliary hooks, do not raise or lower both hooks at the same time (special exceptions).
(11) Welding or hammering on hoisted objects, as well as working under them, are not permitted (supported).
(12) Inspection or maintenance can be performed after a power failure and a power failure sign is hung on the switch. If it is necessary to work with electricity, it must be protected by safety measures and overseen by a dedicated individual.
(13) Do not casually throw things down the car.
(14) The limit switch and interlock protection device should be checked on a regular basis.
(15) It is not permitted to stop by touching the limit switch.
(16) It is not permitted to lift heavy objects when the lifting brake is malfunctioning.
(17) It is not permitted for hung objects to run over people or equipment.
(18) When welding a specific part of the crane, a ground wire must be specially set up, and the fuselage may not be used as a ground wire.
(19) When the hook is in the lower limit position, the drum must have more than two safety loops.
(20) Cranes must not collide with one another, and one crane may not be used to push another crane to work.
(21) Before lifting heavy objects, liquid metal, explosives, or dangerous goods, slowly lift 100200mm from the ground to test the brake's reliability.
(22) The lighting lamp used for repair and inspection must have a voltage less than 36V.
(23) Overhead crane electrical equipment shells must be grounded. The ground wire must be welded if the trolley track is not welded to the main beam. Galvanized flat iron with a cross-sectional area greater than 75mm2, bare copper wire with a cross-sectional area greater than 10mm2, or galvanized round steel with a cross-sectional area greater than 30mm2 can be used as grounding wire. The driver's cab or crane body should have more than two grounding positions. Grounding resistance should be less than 4 from any point on the crane to the neutral point of the power supply.
(24) Regular safety technical inspections, as well as pre-inspection and pre-repair work, are required.
